What is BMI Calculator?

Under Weight: This is a stage where BMI is equal to or less than 18.5. A lean BMI indicates that you may be losing a lot of weight. At this stage you are asked to consult your doctor. According to a recent health survey, rising rates of blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease have been recorded in 27.9% of women and 27.8% of men.
Obesity (Class 1): People with a BMI of 30-34.99 fall into the category of obesity (Class 1). These people are physically unhealthy. This category includes serious diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, gallbladder disease, and some cancers. In this case, people are advised to reduce their weight by 5-10%, which results in a significant improvement in health.
Obesity (Class 2): Results between BMI 35-39.99 indicate a higher risk of weight-related health problems and even death. Consult a doctor and lose weight till low BMI.
Morbid Obesity: BMI over 40+ carries a high risk of weight related disease and premature death. A health professional is advised to contact a health professional.
